Other coincidences

Pablo – Saint Paul in English.  The name of my father is Pablo.  He was a Christian missionary who wrote most of the epistles in the New Testament.

Pedro – Saint Peter in English.  The name of my maternal grandfather is Pedro.

Canlas – My middle name, the surname of my mother  and maternal grandfather.  It may mean ‘can last’.
Kriste – the family name of my maternal grandmother.  Kriste is like Kristo or Christ.

Espiritu Santo Church – the name of the parish church where I was baptized.  Espiritu Santo is the Spanish words for Holy Spirit.  We talk to a spirit who most, if not all, believe that He is the Holy Spirit.

Vision Street  – the name of the street where I was born in Sta. Cruz, Manila.  Vision came from Dimasalang’s “La Vision de Fr. Rodriguez” in response to Rizal’s principal detractor, Fr. Jose Rodriguez, in his pamphlet entitled “Caingat cayo”.  The 1994-04-26 issue of Macarthur Chronicle started the body of the article with “Aristeo Fernando is a man with a vision.”  Parallel to Vision Street are Karapatan (Filipino word meaning “right”), Elias (a character in Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere), Pista (Filipino word meaning “feast” or “fiesta”), and Dimasalang (pseudonym adopted by Jose Rizal when he entered Freemasonry in 1883).  Perpendicular to Vision Street are Balaguer (Fr. Vicente Balaguer, S.J., the Jesuit priest who claimed to have secured Jose Rizal’s retraction), Becerra (Manuel Becerra, Overseas Minister or Minister of the Colonies during the Propaganda Movement), and Aragon (an autonomous community in northeastern Spain).  Quiroga (a Chinese businessman in El Filibusterismo) Street connects Dimasalang and Aragon Streets at an angle.

Sta. Cruz – the district of Manila where I was born.  Cruz is the Spanish word for cross.

The number of Jesus

The number of Jesus is 888.  How did we know this?  The name of Jesus in Greek is ΙΗΣΟΥΣ (iota, eta, sigma, omicron, upsilon, sigma).  The Greeks had a numbering system called the Greek Ionic Ciphered Numeral System devised in about the year 300 B.C. whereby each letter of the Greek alphabet is assigned a numerical value.  Substituting the numerical values to each letter in the name of Jesus and adding them up, the total is 888.  The values of the letters are: iota, 10; eta, 8; sigma, 200; omicron, 70; upsilon, 400; and sigma, 200.  The sum of 10 + 8 + 200 + 70 + 400 + 200 is 888.

Did you know that when the family arrived in Australia as immigrants, it was on 1988-08-21?  August is the eighth month of 1988; hence, 888.  This was the choice of wife of post office box number in Campbelltown, New South Wales in 1993 because of its significance of our arrival in Australia.  We even registered the Holden Apollo car with a special number plate FAF 888.  Yet, all this time, I did not know that the number of Jesus is 888.

It was in May 1994 just before my 25th Wedding Anniversary when the first cousin of my first cousin (Anthony Castelo) arrived in Australia that I only learned about it.  I had not met him for about 35 years.  I read it in the book that he was reading titled A Scientific Approach to Biblical History by W. W. Faid which he lent to me overnight.

In July 1994, one year and five months after we got the post office box, I discovered that our box was in the middle of a cross.  There were four boxes to the left, to the right, to the bottom and three to the top.  Cross, Jesus, 888.  Then in December 1994, I discovered that the set containing box 888 was flanked to the right by a set where you may draw a cross also and to the left by a set where you may not draw a cross because the set contained small, medium, and large boxes.  The middle and the set to the right were all small boxes.  This reminds us of the crucifixion of Jesus wherein He was in the middle flanked by two thieves.

When we finally moved all our things from Campbelltown to Queensland on 2004-05-07, the post office rearranged the post office building from 2004-04-30 to 2004-05-02 affecting also the post office boxes.  Hence, you will not see this strange arrangement anymore.

Jesus nailed through the palm

WP 084

JESUS NAILED THROUGH THE PALM©

ARISTEO CANLAS FERNANDO
Peace Crusader and Echo of the Holy Spirit

When Jesus Christ was nailed on the cross, the nails were driven through His palm and not through the wrist.  This was revealed by the Holy Spirit.

The bones of the forearm from the elbow to the wrist are the radius and ulna.  We usually call this area at the end of these bones as the wrist where the wristwatch is usually placed, and the pulse is taken.  Jesus was not nailed to the cross in this area.

From Webster’s Third New International Dictionary, the carpus is the “wrist or the part of the forelimb between the antebrachium [the part of the arm or forelimb between the brachium and the carpus: forearm] and the metacarpus”.  It is “the group of bones which contains the navicular, lunatum, triquetrum, and pisiform [first row of bones] that articulate with the radius and a distal row which contains the trapezium [greater multagumum], trapezoid [lesser multangulum], capitatum and hamatum [second row of bones] that articulate with the metacarpals”.

Between these rows of eight bones is the “Tunnel of Destot”.  It is through this tunnel that the nail was driven through.

The same dictionary defines the palm as “the somewhat concave part of the human hand between the bases of the fingers and the wrist upon which the fingers close when flexed”.

Several listeners were fortunate to be allowed to feel where the nail was driven through.  Even though I requested one time, I was refused.  The Holy Spirit has reasons to deny my request.

The truth about Judas’ suicide

WP 078

THE TRUTH ABOUT JUDAS’ SUICIDE©

ARISTEO CANLAS FERNANDO
Peace Crusader and Echo of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Bible states the attempt of Judas Iscariot to commit suicide in his deep remorse for his betrayal of his master, Jesus.

Matthew 27:5 (King James Version) states, ‘And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.’  Acts 1:18 states, ‘Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.’

The Holy Spirit revealed to us that Judas was not successful in his attempt because Jesus thwarted it.  Why?  Because Jesus promised His twelve apostles that they will sit in the throne of Heaven and their number will not be decreased.  Judas only did his role so that what is written in the scripture would be fulfilled.

How did Jesus save Judas?  A bolt of lightning struck the rope and he fell ‘headlong’.   Another bolt of lightning struck him as he fell and ‘he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.’

Nicodemus owned the sepulcher, not Joseph of Arimathea

WP 076

NICODEMUS OWNED THE SEPULCHER,
NOT JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA©

ARISTEO CANLAS FERNANDO
Peace Crusader and Echo of the Holy Spirit

A sepulcher is defined by Webster’s Third New International Dictionary as ‘a place for the interment of a dead body: grave, tomb’.  The New Standard Jewish Encyclopedia states under ‘cemetery’ that ‘in ancient times, the cemetery usually consisted of a series of vaults in natural caves, royalty having burial places separate from those of the ordinary people’.  The sepulcher where Jesus was buried is stated in John 19:41, to wit: ‘Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulcher, wherein was never man yet laid.’  The sepulcher where Jesus was laid was hewn out of the rock and a stone was rolled to the door of the sepulcher.

Who were present when Jesus was buried?  According to the Holy Spirit we talk to, there were seven people present.  They were:

  1. Mary, the mother of Jesus (John 19:25, 26)
  2. John, the second cousin of Jesus and His beloved disciple (John 19:27)
  3. Joseph of Arimathea (Matthew 27:57-60; Mark 15:43-46; Luke 23:50-53; John 19:38)
  4. Nicodemus (John 19:39)
  5. Mary Magdalene (Matthew 27:56, 61; Mark 15:40, 47; John 19:25)
  6. Mary, the mother of James the less and of Joses (Matthew 27:56; Mark 15:40, 47)
  7. Mary, the Samaritan woman, the other Mary (Matthew 27:61)

The apostles of Jesus were not present because they could not bear to see the suffering of their Master.

According to the Holy Spirit, Mary was a common name then.  He told us that the name of the Samaritan woman was Mary.  She is one of the women who ‘followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him’.  (Matthew 27:55; Mark 15:41; Luke 23:49)

Nicodemus “brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pound weight’. (John 19:39)  It was a costly offering.

Matthew 27:60 says that Joseph of Arimathea own the tomb but he was not.  The Holy Spirit told us that Nicodemus owned the tomb.  It is logical to believe the Holy Spirit because Nicodemus was from Jerusalem.  He was a Pharisee and a member of the Sanhedrin.  He was a rich person to offer such a costly offering and could afford to buy such a sepulcher.

Joseph was not residing in Jerusalem but in Arimathea so he won’t be buying a sepulcher there.  Arimathea is generally considered to be the modern Rentis, about 35 km NW of Jerusalem or a day’s walk away.  After Jesus was laid, he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher, and departed. (Matthew 27:60)

Words of Jesus on the cross

WORDS OF JESUS ON THE CROSS©

ARISTEO CANLAS FERNANDO
Peace Crusader and Echo

The following are the words of Jesus Christ on the cross taken from the Holy Bible, King James Version:

  1. Matthew 27:46 – “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” (“My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”)
Mark 15:34 also stated this, to wit: “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” Its translation is the same.
  2. Luke 23:34 – “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”
  3. Luke 24:43 – (To the trusting thief): “Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
  4. Luke 24:46 – “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit:”
  5. John 19:26 – (To His mother): “Woman, behold thy son!”
  6. John 19:27 – (To the disciple): “Behold thy mother!”
  7. John 19:28 – “I thirst.”
  8. John 19:30 – “It is finished:”

The Holy Spirit expressed to us (plural) the meaning of these words in sermons and messages.  They have been transcribed and are found in various web pages.

From doubt to belief

FROM DOUBT TO BELIEF

ARISTEO CANLAS FERNANDO
Peace Crusader and Echo of the Holy Spirit

What happened in 1994 that triggered me to believe that the spirit who we (plural) talk to is the spirit of Jesus Christ Himself? What made me reverse my eleven long years (1983-1994) of doubt into belief in the spirit?

  1. First and foremost are the bold letters A-M-A in a featured article about me and the Aristean calendar published in the weekly community newspaper, Macarthur Chronicle, on 1994-04-26.  Please see the article at Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/11976828@N03/1222132820/in/set-72157601635650473/ and  at http://www.geocities.com/peacecrusader888/19940426.htm.  I only discovered the bold letters A-M-A in 1994-06, six weeks after the article was published.  Did you notice the bold letters in the body of the article that spelled “AMA”?  Ama is the name of the spirit who we talk to.  Ama is also the Filipino word for God the Father.
  2. Next was the discovery of 888 as the number of Jesus in 1994-05 from a book lent to me by the first cousin of my first cousin, Anthony Castelo, who I had not met for more than three decades.  Two months later, in 1994-07, I was surprised to find that our post office box number 888 is in the middle of a cross.  Coincidence?  888, number of Jesus, cross.  I also found out in 1994-12 that the sets of boxes affirm that the crucifixion really happened.  Please read the details at http://aristean.org/jesus888.htm.
  3. I am the proponent of the Aristean calendar that will become the official primary standard calendar of the world, replacing the present Gregorian calendar.  The Gregorian calendar succeeded its predecessor, the Julian calendar, in 1582.  The idea of the calendar came to my mind in 1992.  In 1993, I discovered that the name of my mother Gregoria is related to the present calendar.  In 1994, I discovered that the name of the mother of my mother, or my grandmother, is related to the Gregorian’s predecessor as well.  Her name is Julita.  Did you notice the parallelism?  Gregoria, Gregorian calendar; Julita, Julian calendar.  Now, me, proposing a calendar which I believe is destined to be implemented in His time.  Details about the Aristean calendar is at http://aristean.org/calendaridx.htm.
