2012 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,900 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 5 years to get that many views.

Is angel Jibreel from the true God?

Peace Crusader and Echo of the Holy Spirit

The Muslims claim that it was the angel Jibreel who revealed the Qur’an to Mohammad.  Is angel Jibreel the true angel Gabriel of the New Testament?  Or an impostor or a Jinn?  Is angel Jibreel from the true God?  Please show proofs.

The true angel Gabriel in the New Testament comes from the true God.  Here are the proofs:

  1.  Angel Gabriel announced to Zechariah that his old and barren wife Elisabeth would bear a son and would call him John (Luke 1:13).  Because of his unbelief, he was made dumb, and not able to speak (Luke 1:20) until what the angel said was fulfilled.
  2. Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive in her womb and give birth to a son and would call him Jesus (Luke 1:31).  Because of her unbelief, the angel told her that her old and barren cousin Elisabeth was six months pregnant (Luke 1:36).  To prove that what the angel said was true, she hurriedly went to the hill country of Hebron in Judah or Judea, a three-day walk away from Nazareth, to see her cousin.  True enough, Elisabeth was six months pregnant.  Not satisfied still, she stayed at her place until she gave birth, to see if she would really give birth to a son and a human being.  True enough, Elisabeth gave birth to a son and to a human being.  On the eighth day, the child was circumcised (Luke 1:59) and was named John.  Only then did Zechariah regain his speech.  (Please read Luke 1 for the whole story.)  And Mary returned to Nazareth soon after the circumcison of John because winter was coming and would be rainy.

The angel Gabriel in the New Testament comes from the true God because prophecies were given and fulfilled.

What did angel Jibreel show in his 23 years of revealing the Qur’an to Mohammad to prove that he came from the true God?  Nothing?  So, is angel Jibreel from the true God?

Time line during the time of Jesus

Peace Crusader and Echo of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit revealed that Jesus was born on May 23 and was crucified and died on August 17.  I heard these revelations in 1983 from old listeners.  I checked these dates from 1999 to 2006 and found them to be true and correct.  Results of the birth study can be found at, and the crucifixion study, at  Jesus was born in 33 BC; and was 32 solar years old or 33 lunar years when He died in 1 BC.  We can safely assume that these dates are correct, firstly, because the revelation came from the Holy Spirit Himself, and secondly, because of the extensive studies made which verified the revelations to be correct.

In one recording, I learned that the Holy Family returned to Nazareth after staying in Egypt for three years.

In another recording, I learned that Jesus created Pontius Pilate when He was 12 years old because the new Roman emperor, Tiberius Caesar, asked His mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, to give Jesus to him for adoption.  His mother gave a boy who looked exactly like Jesus.  (Please read  It is just logical that Tiberius Caesar appointed his adopted child, Pontius Pilate, who was 26 years old then, as governor of Judaea during his reign as emperor.

When did John the Baptist start his ministry?  In Luke 3:1-2, it states (KJV): “Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.”  This must have happened in 6 BC.

Occasion when Jesus was age 12

Occasion when Jesus was age 12©

Peace Crusader and Echo of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit who we (plural) talk to revealed what happened when Jesus was twelve years old.  Was it because of the Passover that the Holy Family of Joseph, Mary and Jesus went to Jerusalem?

The account in the Holy Bible, Luke 2:41-52 (King James Version), is as follows:
41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
42 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? Behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me?  wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them; but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

The Mosaic Law requires males to go to Jerusalem, as stated in the following:
Exodus 23:17 – “Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the LORD God.”
Deuteronomy 16:16 – “Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:”

The Feast of Unleavened Bread or Passover Festival or Pesach is one of these pilgrimages to Jerusalem (Exodus 12:14-20, 23:15, 34:18; Deuteronomy 16:1-8).  If it was the Passover, Mary would just have stayed home and would not have joined Joseph and Jesus in this trip.  Why then was Mary present in this trip?  Was she required to attend the Passover Festival in Jerusalem?  She is a female person.

The Holy Spirit revealed that on their way home to Nazareth from Jerusalem, Emperor Tiberius Caesar asked the Blessed Virgin Mary for her son Jesus so he could adopt Him.  Why chose Jesus instead of so many young lads?  The emperor must have seen Jesus in the Temple in Jerusalem or had been informed about Him when He sat with the Jewish teachers, listening to them, asking questions, and giving intelligent answers.  The emperor told Mary that he needed someone to pass on his power.

The Holy Spirit mentioned Emperor Tiberius Caesar.  Augustus Caesar must have already died and that Tiberius Caesar was chosen to replace him as the new emperor.  As part of his PR (public relations) exercise, Tiberius must have introduced himself to his subjects.  He must have decreed that all people to register in a census in order that the government would know the expected tax it could collect from them.  Hence, it is just logical to think that the Holy Family’s going to Jerusalem was not the Passover Festival but the registration for the census.

This action is also logical because when Tiberius died, he “left the imperial treasury with nearly 3 billion sesterces.”  Rather than embarking on “costly campaigns of conquest,” he “strengthened the existing empire … using diplomacy as well as military threats, and generally refrained from getting drawn into petty squabbles between competing frontier tyrants.  The result was a stronger, more consolidated empire” (

This census must have been similar to the trip that Joseph and Mary did when Jesus was born twelve years earlier.  Bethlehem is the city of David, the home city of Joseph because he was of the house and lineage of David.  It is some eight kilometers south of Jerusalem.  Therefore, the Holy Family had to pass by Jerusalem to go to Bethlehem because Nazareth where they lived is to the north, some 100 km away.  On their way home from Bethlehem, they would have passed by Jerusalem and paid homage to God at the Temple there.

The continuation of this story will be at entitled “Who was crucified, Jesus or Pilate?”.

One original apostle replaced

Peace Crusader and Echo

The names of the apostles of Jesus Christ are stated in Matthew 10:2-4, Mark 3:16-19, Luke 6:13-16, and Acts 1:13.  The lists are similar for eleven of the apostles:  Simon Peter, Andrew, James and John who are sons of Zebedee and surnamed Boanerges, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew the publican, James who is the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Canaanites also called Zelotes, and Judas Iscariot.

Name of Apostle

Mark Luke

Simon surnamed Peter Y Y Y Y
Andrew, brother of Simon Y Y Y Y
James, son of Zebedee, surnamed Boanerges Y Y Y Y
John, son of Zebedee, surnamed Boanerges Y Y Y Y
Philip Y Y Y Y
Bartholomew Y Y Y Y
Thomas Y Y Y Y
Matthew the publican Y Y Y Y
James, son of Alphaeus Y Y Y Y
Lebbaeus, surnamed Thaddaeus Y Y N N
Simon the Canaanite, also called Zelotes Y Y Y Y
Judas Iscariot Y Y Y N
Judas the brother of James N N Y Y

Lebbaeus, surnamed Thaddaeus, was in Matthew and Mark but not in Luke and Acts.  Instead, Judas the brother of James seemed to have replaced him unless he and Lebbaeus are one and the same person.  It was unlikely though that the name of Lebbaeus would be changed drastically.  In John 14:22, at the Passover meal, Judas, not Iscariot, was mentioned.  The Passover meal or the Last Supper was conducted with Jesus and His circle of apostles and disciples present just before He was arrested and crucified.  Judas the brother of James was present as John recorded.

The apostles were chosen early in the ministry of Jesus.  After more than three years, ten stuck to Jesus and were present in the house in Jerusalem after Jesus ascended to Heaven.  Lebbaeus might have been one of the original twelve but was not mentioned anymore in Acts.  In his place was Judas the brother of James.  Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus was replaced by Matthias (Acts 1:26).

The Holy Spirit revealed the birth of Jesus on May 23

Peace Crusader and Echo

I would like to share with you about the Nativity of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit revealed to us (plural) that Jesus was born on May 23. No year. Just the date May 23. I first heard the date in 1983 from older listeners, and confirmed by the Holy Spirit Himself. You may hear Him announced the date in entitled “May 5 at May 23 na mga kapanganakan” (“May 5 and May 23 births”).

In 2004, a little more than 20 years since I first heard the date, I embarked on a study to check if there is any ring of truth in the revelation. In 2006, I finished my study and uploaded the results on the Internet in I found the date to be true and correct.

The following are the notable findings of the study including the revelations of the Holy Spirit and exposition from the ”Awit at salaysay ng Pasiong Mahal” or “The Holy Passion” :

1. Jesus Christ was not born on December 25 but on May 23.
2. Jesus was not born in winter but in spring.
3. Jesus was not born in 1 BC but in 33 BC.
4. The lunar eclipse that Josephus mentioned in Antiquities, Book XVII, Chapter 6, Section 4; and Wars, Book 1, Chapter 33, Section 4 happened on March 29, 33 BC, equivalent to Nisan 15, 3728.
5. It took Joseph and Mary four days to travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem, some eight km south of Jerusalem.
6. When they arrived in Bethlehem, no one took them in because they were poor even though Mary was in her final stage of pregnancy.
7. Jesus was born in a cave used as shed for farm animals in Bethlehem past midnight.
8. The bright star shone when Jesus was born that called the attention of the three kings who hurriedly followed it.
9. Since there was abundant grass on the field, the cave was empty of animals. The farm animals were being pastured out and looked after by their shepherds.
10. As devout Jewish parents, they had him circumcised and named Jesus on his eighth day, May 30, 33 BC.
11. The three kings were really kings from three kingdoms in the east of Jerusalem, namely, Persia, Arabia and Saba (maybe Sheba). Their names are Melchor, Gaspar at Balthazar.
12. The three kings just met on the way to Jerusalem.
13. They dropped in at King Herod’s palace in Jerusalem to give respect to him and invite him in searching for the newborn King of the Jews. King Herod declined the invitation but asked the three kings to report back to him when they find him so that he, too, can worship Him.
14. The three kings arrived June 6, 33 BC at the place where Jesus was, fourteen days after He was born. They knelt down and laid down their scepters and crowns at the feet of Jesus.
15. King Balthazar gave gold because Jesus is truly king and owner and holder of gold and the whole world. King Gaspar gave frankincense because Jesus is really merciful God and Savior to those who pray. King Melchor gave bitter myrrh because He will truly save mankind from sins.
16. In their sleep, the angel of the Lord told the three kings not to see King Herod anymore and take a different route on their way home.
17. The Holy Family stayed in Bethlehem until Mary’s purification rite and Jesus’ presentation in the temple at Jerusalem on the 41st day. This happened on July 3, 33 BC. After the rites, they headed for home to Nazareth. During their first night of travel, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph who told him to take refuge in Egypt. That night was their plight to Egypt.
18. King Herod ordered the arrest of the three kings or bring over the Christ child on July 4, 33 BC. Failing to find the three kings or Jesus, King Herod ordered his soldiers on July 5, 33 BC to slaughter the innocent children from newly born to three years of age.
19. King Herod died on July 13, 33 BC or Av 2, 3728.
20. The Passover Festival was held from July 25 to August 1, 33 BC or Av 14-21, 3728.

There may be slight differences in the accounts in the Holy Bible and this account. Remember that there was no Bible before. It was the descendants of the disciples who compiled the accounts of the disciples to make the story. The revelations herewith came from the Holy Spirit Himself or supplemented by accounts in the “Holy Passion”.

Although the Bible does not tell us to celebrate the birth of Jesus, it does not tell us not to either. We have to rejoice in His birth because the promised Messiah in the Old Testament has been born to save mankind from sin.

Please save this post for your reference.
