Is Jesus Christ true God and true man?

IS JESUS CHRIST TRUE GOD AND TRUE MAN?

If we want to go to Heaven, one of the two requirements is to acknowledge and believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man.

Jesus Christ is true man because there really was a person by the name of Jesus of Nazareth who lived some 2000 years ago. So, He is not a myth. He existed.

Jesus Christ is true God because the spirit of God resided in a human being who is called Jesus of Nazareth.

In the book of Revelation, who was talking in it? Wasn’t it God? Who was writing down what he was seeing? Wasn’t it John?

Here is the description of God that God said to the angel of the church of:
1. Ephesus – “he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks” (Revelation 2:1, King James Version);
2. Smyrna – “the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive” (Revelation 2:8);
3. Pergamus – “he which hath the sharp sword with two edges” (Revelation 2:12);
4. Thyatira – “the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass” (Revelation 2:18);
5. Sardis – “he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars (Revelation 3:1);
6. Philadelphia – “he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth” (Revelation 3:7); and
7. Laodicea – “the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the being of the creation of God” (Revelation 3:14).

Who is He who has the sharp sword with two edges?  God.  Revelation 19:15 states: “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”

Who is He who has his eyes like a flame of fire?  God.  Revelation 19:12 states: “His eyes were as a flame of fire.”

The Holy Spirit told us (plural) that when Jesus returns, He will have eyes like a flame of fire and with a sword splashing (maybe with blood) (“matang nanlilisik at espadang namimilansik”).  He will not be loving and affable but full of anger to people who disobeyed Him.  Now, Jesus is our defender, our lawyer (“manananggol”, “tagapagtanggol”), but later, He will be the judge (“hukom na tagapaghatol”).

Who is the first and the last? God. Who was dead and is alive? Jesus. Who is the Son of God? Jesus.

Who asked the angels to write the book of Revelation? God. Who said in Revelation 1:17, “I am the first and the last”? God. Who said in Revelation in Revelation 22:13, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last”? God. Who introduced Himself as that God in Revelation 22:16? Jesus. Who then is God? Jesus.

Revelation 22:16 states: “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” This is Jesus introducing Himself as that God.

There is only one true God and this God made Himself into three persons: as God the Father in the Old Testament who talked to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Noah, and the prophets; as God the Son Jesus Christ in the New Testament; and after Jesus ascended to Heaven, He came back as God the Holy Spirit who will be with us forever (John 14:16).

    I read your post and dont agree with your assesment. If your assesment is true then the bible is laced with lies. I dont think the bible lies and all scriptures agree that God is the Father and Jesus is the Son of God. Two seperate beings. I whole heartadly think the Trinity doctrin is false and a doctrine of men. It is nowhere in the bible.

    Dear Brother Tyrone,

    The true God revealed in the book of Revelation of the Holy Bible plainly who He is. He is Jesus Christ.

    There is only one true God and this God made Himself into three: as God the Father in the Old Testament who talked to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, Moses, and the prophets; as God the Son Jesus Christ in the New Testament; and as God the Holy Spirit who is talking to us (plural) now. You may read what He says in http://aristean.org/ and hear Him in http://aristean.org/mp3-files.htm.

    The “Us” in Genesis 1:26 is God the Father and the Holy Spirit because Jesus came much later. But there is only one true God. God is a spirit (John 4:24) and this spirit resided in the human body who we call Jesus Christ.

    No one has ever tampered the book of Revelation. It has never been corrupted. Otherwise, would anyone like what are to happen to him who would attempt to tamper the book as stated in Revelation 22:18-19? The book states that Jesus Christ is God (which the Muslims deny), that He is the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive (Revelation 2:8) and the Son of God (Revelation 2:18) is correct. Who is the one talking in Revelation? Isn’t He, God, Jesus Christ? Who is writing what he sees? Isn’t he John?

    Dear marcusmaxis,

    The Holy Spirit told us that no one can tell us the truth even though He is the spirit of Truth. If the Holy Spirit says that it is the truth, and to us, that is not the truth, then He will be branded as false. And if the Holy Spirit says that it is not the truth, and to us, that is the truth, then He will also be branded as false. So He does not want to say anything anymore. It is we ourselves who can say that a thing is true or not. Commonsense. Logic. That is why He said that God “hath the sharp sword with two edges” (Revelation 2:12).

    The Holy Bible may have flaws, minor ones though, in details. That is why here is the Holy Spirit to tell us which is correct and which is not. However, the book of Revelation has not been tampered with. Would anyone be ready to accept what is said in Revelation 22:18-19 in case he tampers with or corrupts the book of Revelation?

    Do you know what Son of God means? Son of Man? Very plain and simple. Jesus Christ is called the Son of God because His father is God. Jesus Christ is called the Son of man because His mother Mary was a human being.

    There is only one true God and this God made Himself into three – as God the Father in the Old Testament, as God the Son in the New Testament, and as God the Holy Spirit in what I call, “The Last Testament”. This is what is called the Trinity doctrine, though not in the Bible, but is used to describe something, like the word “bible” or “rapture”.

    John 5:30 I can of myself do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is righteous; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
    John 5:31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

    Oh yes you do your God this is alll your will. If what you say is true this scripture is a lie.

    John 7:16 Jesus therefore answered them and said, My teaching is not mine, but his that sent me.

    Oh yes it is, all this teaching is yours. Your God Jesus. if what you say is true this is a lie

    John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I came forth and am come from God; for neither have I come of myself, but he sent me.

    Oh yes you did you came of yourself because you are God Jesus.

    If what you say is true another lie here. This is just a few. You can never justify these statements that God is saying about himself. its totally ludicrous.
