JESUS RESURRECTED ON SUNDAY EVENING
ARISTEO CANLAS FERNANDO
Peace Crusader and Echo
The Holy Spirit revealed that Jesus was crucified and died on August 17, 1 BC. This date was a Thursday and is a propleptic Gregorian date. I have proven that the revelation is true and correct. If we take into consideration what Jesus said that the Son of man shall be “three days and three nights in the heart of the earth”, when would He then resurrected?
Herewith is a table showing what transpired from Thursday afternoon when Jesus was crucified:

Jesus would have resurrected on the evening of the Sunday (as per Julian or proleptic Gregorian calendar reckoning) or Monday (as per Jewish calendar reckoning) between sunset and midnight completing the three days and three nights that Jesus said in Matthew 12:40, to wit: “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” Then the tomb was discovered empty on Monday just before the sun rose (Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1).
The sweet spices were bought from the market after the followers of Jesus called “The Way” had finished their Sabbath (Mark 16:1).
The two who walked to Emmaus were Cleopas and Simon to whom Jesus appeared (Luke 24:13-49).

The 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth was not even the time Jesus spent I the grave. It has been misunderstood because people fail to allow the Bible to interpret its own terms. Look at every use of the original Greek word kardia that is translated as heart and see how the Bible used it. For one thing “Heart of the earth” in not referring to the grave at all. There is a really good explanation available at http://www.jesus-resurrection.info Look at it carefully and you will see that it makes sense.
